Owners and creators, Angie and Britni met while attending Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. Both were pursuing degrees in Apparel Design and Fashion Merchandising and found themselves often paired for intense projects. A great friendship and trust quickly developed and the dream of starting a company together was born. Upon graduation, Angie moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in fashion and when Britni's degree was complete, she returned to her home state of California. Their passion for fashion reconnected them and SassySash.com was born!
The idea of SassySash actually started...
While the pair were still in college their friends, roommates, and sorority sisters wanted a way to stand out in the crowd. The first Sash was made to celebrate the 21st birthday of one of Angie's roommates and after that, everyone requested customized Sashes of their own.
